Dr. Shaheen Khosla

Dr. Shaheen Khosla is a board certified dermatologist with over 20 years of experience practicing in the Bay Area and Silicon Valley. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley with honors, she furthered her education with a Masters degree in Biological Sciences from Drexel University and received her medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences, graduating in the top 5% of her class. Dr. Khosla was honored as a National Dean’s List Nominee and received multiple awards, including the prestigious Charles Vowel’s M.D. Memorial Scholarship Award for Academic Excellence and Exemplifying Qualities of Concerned Patient Care.

Her clinical experience included post-graduate training in general medicine at University Hospitals / Case Western Reserve University, where she conducted specialty research in cutaneous oncology and hair disorders. Dr. Khosla continued her dermatology training at Mt. Sinai / St. Barnabas Hospitals in New York City before returning to her home state of California, where she has established a successful private practice. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and ethnicities. Dr. Khosla specializes in medical dermatology, cosmetics, and overall wellness.

Dr. Khosla is active in the academic community, presenting and publishing her research on cutaneous lymphoma and senescent alopecia at various annual dermatology meetings. She has contributed several articles to peer-reviewed journals and lectures at institutions, including Stanford University and Google, as well as at local schools and hospitals.

She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, and serves on the board of the American Board of Osteopathic Dermatology.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Khosla enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Rohit Khosla, M.D., a plastic surgeon at Stanford University, and their children. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, practicing yoga, and taking family bike rides. Dr. Khosla is also proficient in conversational Spanish.
